Kathmandu, 06 Bhadra / According to Indian news agency PTI and Zeenewsindia.com an emergency has been declared at Thiruvananthapuram Airport in India after a bomb threat was identified on Air India’s AI 657 flight, which was set to depart from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram with 135 passengers on board.

The Times of India reported that the aircraft has been placed in a separate area, according to officials. Airport authorities have declared an emergency. According to reports, the pilot of the aircraft had informed about the bomb warning.

Indian news sources reported that due to the security challenge, the aircraft was landed in a secure location, and the process of evacuating the passengers has now begun.
