The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has claimed that it intercepted dozens of missiles and drones launched from Iran.

According to the UAE Ministry of Defense, the country’s defense systems successfully neutralized 12 ballistic missiles, 3 cruise missiles, and 4 drones fired from Iran. The ministry also reported that three people were injured during efforts to stop the attack. In total, the UAE claims to have intercepted 549 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,260 drones launched from Iran so far.

So far, 227 people have been injured in the incident, including citizens of various countries. It has also been reported that three UAE soldiers lost their lives in the Iranian attack. One of them was a Moroccan national working under contract with the armed forces.

Meanwhile, the total death toll has reached 10. The deceased include nationals from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Egypt, and Palestine.

The Ministry of Defense stated that the country’s security system remains on full alert. It also emphasized that all necessary measures will be taken to confront any threats and to safeguard the nation’s security, stability, and interests.
